Master’s Music Academy is a comprehensive music studio that offers private music lessons in Piano. Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Woodwinds and Brass. Master’s Music Academy was started by Celia Pedersen a local singer, worship leader and musician in 2016. Celia has worked as a local band director for over 10 years and a local worship leader in the Simi Valley Area for 20 years. Celia also worked for Simi Hills Performing Arts Academy and as their head music teacher and music director. Celia’s desire is to teach children the love of music through excellent instruction, positive reinforcement and proper technique. Celia approaches each child as unique in their own abilities and gifts and works with them to develop a plan that will suit each individual child. Master’s Music Academy is Privately owned and operated.

Master’s Music Academy’s mission statement is: Creating a love for music one student at a time through excellent teachers, curriculum and performance opportunities.

Private lessons on any instrument run $125 per month payable at the first lesson of every month. There is a contract and studio policy and procedure available upon request. Lessons can be cancelled at any time with a 30 day written notice. There are extra fee’s for quarterly recitals to cover the cost of facility rental, etc.…

Master’s Music Academy uses various curriculums in order to put the best possible learning situation together for each student as each student learns differently.

Master’s Music Academy uses weighted, hammer action keyboards with pedals for piano instruction. Smaller unweighted keyboards are available for very small children 4-5 years old to begin instruction on.

Master’s Music Academy rents space to other privately owned and operated music instructors in order to cover all aspects of music instruction. These instructors rent space from Master’s Music Academy and handle their students accounts and lessons themselves as they are self-employed. They are paid directly by the client not by Master’s Academy and Master’s Academy does not take payments for these teachers or handle disputes arising with these teachers. Having outside teachers provides the best possible instruction for all students in the many different facets of music instruction. Currently, guitar, drums, and bass students are taught by outside teacher Voyce McGinley of Rolls Voyce Publications. Voyce is a seasoned veteran in the music industry and has played drums for many artists.

All students will be required to come prepared to all lessons and practice time will be required of each student in order to achieve the best possible result for the student. A student will only progress if he/she practices and practice habits are directly related to success and growth.

Participation in recitals is the best thing for a musician and a minimum of 1 recital per calendar year is required of each student in order to advance to the next level of play. The students teacher will be there to help and support the student through the recital.
